Stock and securities
We accept gifts of stock directly into our own brokerage account. Giving shares you have held for more than a year can let you avoid capital gains tax on the growth and deduct their full market value.

From your IRA
If you are 70½ or older, you can direct a qualified charitable distribution from your IRA to Carlo Catholic. It is not added to your taxable income, and it can count toward your required minimum distribution.
Ask your IRA custodian to send the gift directly to us. A check you deposit first does not qualify.
