Our Founding Executive Director

Kaylin Olson

Founding Executive Director

Carlo Acutis Catholic High School is honored to welcome Kaylin Olson as its Founding Executive Director. A lifelong parishioner of St. Helen Catholic Church in Pearland, Kaylin brings nearly four decades of service to the Church together with the discipline of a successful entrepreneur and operator.

Kaylin is the founder and CEO of Olson Resources, a Pearland-based firm she built and has led since 2012. As a business owner she has shouldered the work that a founding school leader must do well: managing cash flow with rigor, building relationships from the ground up, and never losing sight of the mission while doing it. She runs her work on a simple standard, “If Jesus would do it, it’s the right thing,” and that conviction is what drew her to Carlo Catholic.

Her faith is lived, not just professed. She has served St. Helen as a cantor for more than three decades, as a catechist, and as the lay leader who revived the parish’s St. Joseph Altar and chaired its largest-ever parish picnic. She holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston and recently completed fundraising certification through the University of California, Davis to prepare for this role.

Kaylin and her husband, Doug, have been married for more than 25 years and have four children. She steps into this role with a clear first priority: to tell the story of St. Carlo Acutis and this school widely and well, and to invite the founding donors whose generosity will make Carlo Catholic a reality.
